We are inviting UKRI-funded researchers to take part in next year’s Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition, our annual festival celebrating the cutting-edge of UK science.
Taking place in July 2024, the Exhibition provides an excellent opportunity to engage a variety of audiences with your research, including members of the public, school groups, policy makers and potential funders and fellows of the Royal Society. Each year, we welcome thousands of visitors through our doors and reach many more through national coverage on TV or in the media.
We welcome applications from academic institutions and industry partners who have innovative and exciting research to showcase which can form the basis of an engaging and interactive exhibition. Applications can be made individually or in collaboration led by a senior researcher based in the UK. Exhibitors may wish to jointly submit proposals with their collaborators and other research groups, and include undergraduates and students as part of their exhibit team for a great learning opportunity.
If you are interested in taking part in the Summer Science Exhibition in 2024, join the Public Engagement team for an online session tailored to potential exhibitors on Tuesday 5 September (12 – 1pm). During this meeting, you will gain insight into the application process and have the chance to ask any questions you might have.
Find out how to apply or read our case studies from previous exhibitors to find out about their experiences first-hand.
The deadline for proposals is 3pm on Monday 2 October 2023.
