At a time when the triple planetary crisis—climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution—is reshaping our planet, ECSA 61 aims to strengthen the connection between science and policy to tackle estuarine and coastal marine biodiversity challenges.
We invite you to propose and convene a special session that showcases innovative research, collaborative approaches, and real-world applications in support of sustainable coastal and marine ecosystems.
✅ All formats welcome: oral sessions, panels, workshops, forums, posters, and more
✅ Sessions may be sponsored, but it’s not required
✅ If selected, special session organisers will participate (along with the ECSA 61 Scientific Committee) in soliciting and selecting session contributions
✅ Proposals must include conveners, a session title, and a 200-word description aligned with the conference theme
