Research Project Title: BRICS: Biology’s Role in ocean Carbon Storage – a gap analysis

What is this research about?

You are invited to take part in this research by answering this survey. Before we go any further, please read this information page carefully and understand what you might expect to do and what it will involve. Please consider if you want to take part or not in this research study.

What is the project’s purpose? 

The project aims to identify the biological processes most important to ocean carbon storage, through collating views of the research community. This survey forms part of a project funded by the UK’s Natural Environment Research Council under the BIO-Carbon programme.  Findings will be published in a report to NERC as well as in a peer-reviewed publication.

What will my participation look like? You are being asked to respond to an online survey. It will take you approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. No personal data will be collected and your participation is voluntary.  You may withdraw at any time while answering the questionnaire by closing your browser window.
