2024 call for projects of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation

Welcome to the 2024 session of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation’s call for project proposals, open online from 1st to 30th June 2024.

The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation invites applications for its environmental project grants. These support projects addressing challenges in the foundation’s priority areas of fighting against climate change and encouraging renewable energies, safeguarding biodiversity, and managing water resources, with the overall aim of promoting sustainable development at local and global level. The following areas are of particular interest:
•Forests and Communities Initiative – to support conservation of forest ecosystems through the action of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs) and develop a supporting network of actors providing a multi-disciplinary set of expertise;
•The Polar Initiative – devoted to better understanding and protecting the polar regions;
•Coastal Futures Initiative: Coastal resilience – to proactively engage stakeholders in generating constructive knowledge and effective action for coastal and marine solutions to improve the resilience of coastal and marine ecosystems for the benefit of communities and societies.

The application for funding must be for activities starting in 2025.

Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by email by 31st March 2025 at the latest.
