“Human-induced climate change is already affecting many weather and climate extremes in every region across the globe. Evidence of observed changes in extremes such as heatwaves, heavy precipitation, droughts, and tropical cyclones, and, in particular, their attribution to human influence, has strengthened since AR5.” IPCC, 2021: Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis.
ETP is a unique alliance of 13 outstanding Scottish universities with world-class capability and resources in sustainable energy research and innovation. From technologies such as offshore wind, marine, and energy storage, through local and national whole energy systems analysis, to policy and demand side management, ETP members cover the whole range of sustainable energy research. Every year, the ETP Annual Conference provides PhD and Early Career Researchers the platform to disseminate their sustainable energy research.
This year, we will be holding the event online, and we are inviting sustainable energy PhD students and Early Career Researchers based anywhere in the world to submit an abstract to present at the conference, along with ETP’s own researchers.
