Glasgow Science Centre are looking for people to participate in their “Meet the Expert” events during British Science Week

Are you looking for Public Engagement opportunities as part of your research, thesis or to gain experience?

Glasgow Science Centre’s Meet the Expert programme will be back in 2023 and we’re looking for enthusiastic and engaging communicators who want to share their passion for STEM with our visitors by delivering hands-on, interactive activities during British Science Week! These engaging and interactive activities should be suitable for P5-P7 students and/or families.

Unfortunately, Glasgow Science Centre is unable to fund researchers to attend these, therefore this opportunity is ideal for people who:

❇️ Are looking for opportunities to develop their STEM/ Science Communicator skills.
❇️ Want to test aspects of their public engagement activity/ research project to an audience.
❇️ Are required to take part in public engagement as part of their course/ research/ thesis.
❇️ Have been awarded funding to engage in Science Communication as part of a project.

We have slots available for the following dates :

❇️ Thursday 16th March, 10.00am- 2.00pm
❇️ Friday 17th March, 10.00am – 2.00pm
❇️ Saturday 18th March, 10.00am – 2.00pm
❇️ Sunday 19th March, 10.00am – 2.00pm
