MASTS is delighted to partner with the Ocean Frontiers Institute (OFI) to offer funding to participate in a Visiting Fellowship Scheme as part of the Transforming Climate Action initiative led by Dalhousie University, in partnership with Memorial University (co-founder of OFI), Université du Québec à Rimouski and Université Laval.

This visiting fellowship programme provides a platform for scholarly knowledge exchange and collaboration. Visiting Fellowships should coproduce transdisciplinary and socially relevant research to inform climate action and be relevant to the research themes of the TCA programme. In summary, the three themes are:
o Reducing uncertainties in the climate carbon budget
o Ocean-based climate change mitigation
o Just and equitable adaptation
