MASTS Visiting Fellowship Scheme 2024

The MASTS Directorate would like to offer funding to support several Visiting Fellowships.

The main objective of the MASTS Visiting Fellowship Scheme is to provide outstanding academics based in any country overseas (and active at any career stage and in any discipline within the marine sciences) with the opportunity to be based at a MASTS partner institution for between 1-3 months.

Visiting Fellows will be expected to identify new, or further develop existing, lines of research with colleagues at one or more MASTS host institution(s).

Fellows need not necessarily apply to develop collaboration with MASTS scholars active within the same discipline. These Fellowships are also open to Fellows who wish to work with MASTS colleagues in other areas or disciplines in a cross-, trans- or inter-disciplinary way. MASTS does not have any pre-conceived ideas about the specific types of outputs which Fellows will produce as part of their visit.

Further details are available to download here.

You must be a member of a MASTS partner institution to apply.

To apply for these funds, please complete and return the application form to masts@st-andrews.ac.uk by close on Wednesday 31st July 2024. Any queries regarding the scheme can also be sent to this email address.
