This year’s call for the Global Innovation Network Programme (GINP) is now published with an application deadline on June 18 at noon. The programme supports new and established networks between institutions and should strengthen global networks, alliances and partnerships in order to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to societal and global challenges and provide long-term possibilities and added value for the applicant, the partner(s) and other stakeholders. Cooperation is possible with international partners outside of the EU and EEA, and the UK is this year again one of the 13 prioritised countries.
Quite flexible in scope – can fund expenses for activities such as travel, delegation visits, workshops and conferences for applicant organisations and for their colleagues in the UK and other partner countries. It is also possible to organise summer/winter schools for PhDs and postdocs as part of the applications. Applications of up to DKK 750k [app £85k] per project.
Applications particularly welcome within Danish priority areas such as:
- Green transition
- Life sciences
- Digital, emerging and critical technologies
Please note that the application needs to be submitted by a DK-based main applicant, so UK partners would need to take this to Danish (established or prospective) collaboration partners – full call text and more detail on the application process through the link above.
