About the role
NOC would like to recruit an applied scientist in the area of deep-sea ecology, specifically related to the environments of interest to deep-sea industry.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse, dynamic and innovative team tasked with bringing additional commercial projects in core areas of excellence for NOC science. The role will primarily work alongside core science teams, other applied scientists and the sustainable business development team at NOC. The role will be a commercially-facing scientist, who will be involved in applied research.
About you
You will have experience in driving the generation of new partnerships and income for research projects.
Ideally you will have experience and knowledge of working in the marine environment, specifically the deep-sea, through participation in research expeditions, subsequent analysis of scientific data and reporting.
