We are looking for a full time Lecturer in Ecology and Evolution Education, with a background in Ecology and/or Evolutionary Biology and a growing research reputation. We want to appoint someone who is committed to evidence-based teaching; development and implementation of student-centred teaching techniques; and who wishes to engage in research in a relevant area and/or in Pedagogy.
The School of Biological Sciences at the University of Edinburgh has introduced a new Masters in Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity and is looking for someone with expertise in that area to contribute to the teaching and underlying research. The role will include contributions to that programme as well as aligned undergraduate courses. You will also have the opportunity to engage in a research program in an area of biology that complements our existing research priorities, or in an area of pedagogy.
