The MMO have an exciting fixed term (secondment) opportunity in their Evidence and Evaluation team with social science experience to oversee several projects being taken forward through their fisheries budget this year.
As part of this, the successful candidate would be required to develop, review and procure tenders, then project manage the external commissioning process and review outputs to ensure they are delivering on their agreed objectives.
Research themes focus around further developing engagement processes with a view on developing the capacity of the communities which we wish to target, developing social-impact assessment criteria for fisheries related work and developing and trialling methods to map out social and cultural benefits of various commercial operations to their communities.`
They would like to recruit someone into the role as soon as possible with the post running until the end of March (2024). They offer flexible working and accept applications on a full and part time basis.’
