Building on the strengths of the Energy and Environment Institute (EEI) in offshore wind and renewable energy in conjunction with our University strategy to meet net-zero by 2027, the University of Hull is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Offshore Wind / Renewable Energies with expertise in either environmental impacts, environmental economics or carbon management.
The successful candidate will lead our MSc in Renewable Energy and contribute to other teaching programmes and public engagement opportunities.
As a research institute, the EEI is looking for a person with a track-record in high-quality research outputs and experience to capture research funding that will build our research portfolio in renewable energy and the environment.
The post-holder will work closely with colleagues in Aura, which is a catalyst organisation for collaboration and brings together industry partners to harness and drive innovation in the low carbon and offshore wind sectors, rooted in the Humber at the heart of the UK’s Energy Estuary.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and talented with a passion for both research and teaching, working collaboratively across departments in the University of Hull, and beyond with external partners, and have a strong ambition to be an academic leader in their field.
