Join Laurie Macpherson for a skills event that is guaranteed to boost your career prospects.
This session will cover will cover:
- Different types of roles/funding and where to find them;
- How to apply for a role, i.e., CV, application form, UKRI’s Résumé for Research and Innovation;
- Analysis of job adverts and how to read job specifications; and
- How to present evidence to show how you fit the role, including that gained completing the PG Cert.
There will also be a live opportunity to practice matching evidence for currently advertised roles in academia, research, and industry and a CV workshop will be held post-event.
