MASTS 2026 Annual Science Meeting

The first two days of the 16th MASTS ASM will bring together expert plenary speakers and contributed talks, panel sessions and e-posters outlining the latest research and management practices that address key topics related to marine science and management in the face of global climate change and a biodiversity crisis. Alongside our general science sessions, the event will include special topic sessions, and plenty of opportunities to network. The event will take place in-person in Glasgow.

The call for talk and ePoster abstracts is now open. Deadline: 31st August 2026, session information and template on the main ASM page here.

Workshops

The majority of workshops will take place on 12 November. Workshop descriptions, dates and timings are found here, please read these before purchasing your ticket. Workshop tickets are below and are separate to the conference tickets. 

Ticket types

Member VS non-members tickets: MASTS members are individuals currently employed or undertaking postgraduate study at one of the MASTS member institutes listed here. If you have previously been employed and/or studied at one of the member institutes, or are not associated with any MASTS member organisation, then you are a non-member.

Concession rate only applies to: retired; full-time students; those 25 years and under; the unemployed; benefits recipients; individuals with an impairment/disability; those working in small registered charities with gross annual income of less than £1M.
