The Marine Biological Association (MBA) has opened applications for two fantastic Investigatorships, providing funding and access to world-leading marine science facilities and expertise:
🔹 Peter Baker Investigatorship (Early Career)
For researchers within 10 years of PhD
Supports fundamental physiological research in marine systems
Up to £5,000 for projects (research costs, travel, subsistence)
Residency at MBA (Plymouth) for up to 8 weeks in 2027
Deadline: 5 October 2026
🔹 Ray Lankester Investigatorship (Established Researchers)
For researchers 10+ years post-PhD
Up to £7,500 to support collaborative research at MBA
Flexible visits (1–5 months total) starting in 2027
Deadline: 28 September 2026
Both schemes offer:
