I’m writing to share a new opportunity from the Marine Policy Center (MPC) at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. We have launched a Visiting Scholar Program supporting short-term (approximately three-month) residential appointments for established individuals working at the intersection of ocean science, policy, and decision-making.
The program is designed to bring scholars and practitioners to Woods Hole for a focused period of collaboration with MPC researchers and the broader WHOI scientific community. We are particularly interested in individuals whose expertise complements or expands our current areas of focus and who are interested in engaging across disciplines.
Applications are now open for residencies in Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Fall 2027, with deadlines of June 15, 2026 and October 15, 2026.
