UKRI and Defra are seeking views to help inform a potential future innovation programme in environmental monitoring, and we would be grateful for your support in responding to this short survey and sharing it with your networks.
The current Innovation in Environmental Monitoring Programme has been delivered jointly by Innovate UK (programme ended March 2026) and NERC (programme ending this year) in partnership with Defra and BBSRC.
Through a short survey, we are seeking to understand the needs and priorities of the innovation community for future growth in this area. We welcome views and experiences from those who carry out or support environmental monitoring, in particular, activities that are relevant to UKRI’s Priority Bucket 2 (governmental and societal priorities) and Priority Bucket 3 (supporting innovative companies).
Survey responses will be used by UKRI and Defra to inform thinking on a potential future innovation programme.
