This week, the MASTS Working Group on Climate Change Impacts on Scottish Deep Seas has been meeting for a Workshop in Edinburgh to continue the development of their Story Map. The tool is designed for policymakers, marine science professionals and everyone with an interest in the pressing challenges facing our marine ecosystem.
The day began with discussions to refine the key messages and impacts that the story map will convey, ensuring it effectively communicates the most critical issues. Following this, participants worked on structuring the layout of the story map, focusing on how best to organise and present the data for maximum clarity and impact. The afternoon was dedicated to processing and collecting the necessary data, with the team collaborating closely to ensure the map is backed by robust and accurate information.
We’re excited about the progress made and look forward to sharing the completed story map with you soon. This tool will play a crucial role in our efforts to address the impacts of climate change on Scotland’s marine environments. Stay tuned for further updates!
