Julia Sutherland represented MASTS at a horizon scanning workshop hosted at the University of Exeter, joining an expert panel of representatives from academia, government, industry and conservation organisations. Participants discussed and prioritised emerging issues and opportunities that could shape the UK’s marine and coastal environment over the next 25 years, considering their potential ecological, climate, social and economic impacts.
